This caught my eye on the way in today. That would be a Tesla in Toyota clothing, right? The vanity plate makes me think this is probably not a standard issue anything.
Happy to get some input on the name fusion/butchery. Go crazy, internetthingy!

The Rav4 EV is indeed a joint venture between Tesla and Toyota.

The RAV4 EV was developed with Tesla and has a Tesla powertrain.
Unfortunately, I’ve seen several lemon buybacks of these. They aren’t as reliable as regular Toyotas, from what I’ve read online. And, they’re only sold California, I believe.

Hey, that’s my car! The license plate is intended to mean “Powered By Tesla” because, as someone pointed out, the drivetrain is Tesla designed/built.
